6、e 1.6. Sampling6.1 Gaseous Air in High Pressure Metal ContainersExtract samples from the container or containers with anappropriate pressure reducing regulator. Screw the pressureregulator inlet connection on to the container valve outlet.Connect the regulator outlet connection to the gas samplingpi
7、pe or to the gas analyzing equipment by means of metal orglass tubing except that rubber tubing may be used to securebutt joints in metal-to-glass or glass-to-glass tubing. Take careto ensure that all tubing is clean and dry and the samplingapparatus is thoroughly purged of atmospheric air before th
8、esample is taken. Where a multiplicity of containers are to besampled, follow Practice E105 if it is considered satisfactory tosample less than the total number of containers.7.
