Oualification shall be obta
14、ined for each rod end. 5.2 Acceptance conditions 5.2.1 Inspections and tests to be carried out by the manufacturer See table 4. 5.2.2 Users quality control The user may, on acceptance of a delivery batch, proceed to inspect it by using the inspections specified in table 4, in full or in part, to ens
15、ure that the items conform to the required quality level, and to determine whether the delivery batch is acceptable. This inspection can be carried out in the users factory, or by special agreement with the manufacturer in the manufacturers factory. 6 Packaging The rod ends shall be packaged individ
16、ually and in such a way that they will not be damaged during transportation. They shall be protected against moisture, corrosion, dirt and other harmful substance. The packaging material in contact with the bearing shall provide this protection. The following indications shall be affixed to each ind
17、ividual package : - manufacturers name and address; - identity block as defined by product standards or design documentation; - packaging date. The following indications at least shall appear on collective packaging : - manufacturers name and address; - number of order; - quantity; - identity block(
18、s) as defined by product standards or design documentation. 7 Certificate of conformity Ali the rod ends supplied in accordance with this standard shall be accompanied by a certificate of conformity from the manufacturer. 26、he rod end as shown in figure B. 1. Apply a pre-load equal to 5 % of the push-out proof load. Set ?he dial gauge at zero. Under no circumstances shall the load be applied to the bearing inner ring. Progressively increase this load at the rate of 1 % /s until the maximum value is obtained. Maintain i
27、t for 1 min. Check the behaviour of the bearing with the dial gauge. Remove the load progressively at 1 % /s. Carry out this test successively on each face of the rod end.
