EN 3841-308:2004 (E) 4 1 Scope This standard specifies a method of verifying the ability of circuit breakers to withstand the indirect effects of a stroke of lightning. It shall be used together with

The circuit breakers sha
19、ll be tested in accordance with the requirements of ISO 7137, test procedure 3.8 using the test levels quoted in the long wave test category M, (1 600 V and 320 A, duration 6,4 s, 70 s) in the test document quoted therein. Five positive and five negative impulses shall be superposed every minute on
20、each of the nominal voltages indicated in the technical specification.
