This
20、test may also be used for similar devices when specified in a detail specification. The object of this test is to define a standard test method to assess the extent and the effect of mould growth on the functioning of a component submitted to a mould culture. 1.2 Normative references The following n

24、 3-1: Insulation tests Test 3a: Insulation resistance 2 Preparation 2.1 Preparation of the specimen Specimens shall be equipped with their normal accessories, mounted as specified in the detail specification. When required by the detail specification, the specimen shall be mated and unmated as many
25、times as specified prior to testing. For each test carried out, the detail specification shall specify the condition of the component, for example mated or unmated. 26、ification. 2.3 Preconditioning Preconditioning shall be of at least 1 h, unless otherwise specified in the detail specification. 3 Test method 3.1 Conditioning This test shall be carried out in accordance with IEC 60068-2-10, Test J: Mould growth. The duration of the exposure shall be specified in t
27、he detail specification. 3.2 Initial measurements Insulation resistance: IEC 60512-3-1, Test 3a. 3.3 Final measurements The specimen shall be subjected to the following tests, unless otherwise specified in the detail specification and shall meet the requirements specified in the detail specification
