41、ion for Standardization) is a worldwide federation of national standards bodies (ISO member bodies). The work of preparing International Standards is normally carried out through ISO technical committees. Each member body interested in a subject for which a technical committee has been established h

42、as the right to be represented on that committee. International organizations, governmental and non-governmental, in liaison with ISO, also take part in the work. ISO collaborates closely with the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) on all matters of electrotechnical standardization. Int

43、ernational Standards are drafted in accordance with the rules given in the ISO/IEC Directives, Part 2. The main task of technical committees is to prepare International Standards. Draft International Standards adopted by the technical committees are circulated to the member bodies for voting. Public

This International Standard is designed to specify web services that can be made available to wireless devices through web-resident proxy applications, but is not restricted to that environment. 2 Conformance Conformance to this International Standard takes on two meanings dependent on th

48、e type of entity declaring conformance. Mechanisms for the transfer of data are conformant to this International Standard if they can be considered to consist of transfer record or type definitions that implement or extend a consistent subset of the object types described within this International Standard. Web servers for tracking and navigation are conformant to this International Standard if their interfaces implement one or more of the subtypes of service defined in this International Standard and their communications and messaging are accomplished using a
