9、International Organization for Standardization) is a worldwide federation of national standards bodies (ISO member bodies). The work of preparing International Standards is normally carried out through ISO technical committees. Each member body interested in a subject for which a technical committee

10、 has been established has the right to be represented on that committee. International organizations, governmental and non-governmental, in liaison with ISO, also take part in the work. ISO collaborates closely with the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) on all matters of electrotechnic

11、al standardization. Draft International Standards adopted by the technical committees are circulated to the member bodies for voting. Publication as an International Standard requires approval by at least75% of the member bodies casting a vote. International Standard ISO7588-3 was prepared by Techni

12、cal Committee ISO/TC22, Road vehicles, Subcommittee SC3, Electrical and electronic equipment. ISO7588 consists of the following parts, under the general title Road vehicles Electrical/electronic switching devices: Part 1: Relays and flashers; Part 2: Electronic devices; Part 3: Microrelays. 14、 ISO7588-3:1998 BSI 06-1999 1 1 Scope This part of ISO7588 specifies dimensional characteristics and the functional allocation of microrelay terminals intended for road vehicles. Annex A gives additional information on the dimensions of socket apertures. 2 Normative references The following standard

15、s contain provisions which, through reference in this text, constitute provisions of this part of ISO7588. At the time of publication, the editions indicated were valid. All standards are subject to revision, and parties to agreements based on this part of ISO7588 are encouraged to investigate the p

Configurations other than rectangular are permitted, provided they lie within the specified area. However, in all c

21、ases the outside contour shall lie within the maximum dimensions given inFigure 3. 4.4 Other requirements for sockets 4.4.1 Apertures at the entering plane shall be in accordance withFigure 1 and shall accept tabs to the maximum limits. 4.4.2 In order to avoid the need for excessive withdrawal force

22、, it is recommended that the female connectors in the socket should not incorporate detents. A.2 Dimensions of socket apertures Socket apertures should accommodate the following tab positioning zones (seeFigure A.1): at entering
