2、. In keeping with current practice in standards published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), a comma has been used throughout as the decimal marker. Dimensions in mm 1 Scope and field of application This standard gives design details of shoulders of shafts and housings, in

3、or on which rolling bearings are to be seated. Compliance with the values specified precludes distortion of the bearing as a result of inadequate fillet radii, leaves enough space for any projecting cage parts of tapered roller bearings and ensures ease of mounting and removal. Where axial loads are

4、 high and in the case of axial contact bearings, attention should be paid to the manufacturers instructions with regard to the design of adjacent machine parts. Continued on pages 2 to 20. Page 2 DIN 5418 2 Dimensions 2.1 Corner radii and shoulder heights Corner radii on shafts and housings shall pr

5、ovide the clearance required for the chamfer on the inner or oute ring of the bear- ing as a function of the chamfer dimension. The shoulder height shall be designed to ensure a seating (contact) surface of adequate size, whilst permitting easy use of withdrawal tools. h h, shoulder height on shaft
