12、tools. The specifications given for parallel shanks deviate from those for DIN 1835 high-speed steel milling cutters in the following points. a) The range of diameters dl has been extended to include diameters of 14 mm and 18 mm. b) For plain shanks, tolerance h6 has been specified instead of h8. c)
13、 Flatted shanks may also be designed to have grooves. d) The depth of the flat or of the clamping face is smaller, so as to provide stability and so that the shanks can be provided with grooves. e) For type HE shanks, the shank end has been given a cylindrical form for dl from 6 mm to 20 mm.
