27、 effect. 3.7,2.2 Approval of preproduction samples shall not be constued as a waiver of any specified requirement. After being released to the contractor (See 3.7. 5) preproduction samples to be offered as units on contract shall be refabricated by the contractor if necessary to meet specified requi

29、 unavoidable, the preproduction samples may be submitted for approval provided that the accompanying statement describes in detail each nonconforming feature, reason therefor, and manner in which it will be corrected in production of equipment on contract. 3.7.3 Test data. - The preproduction sample

30、s shall be accompanied by test data showing compliance with specified performance, The test data shall comprise an engineering report giving test procedure, observations and other data, calculations, test results and essential details of the testing equipment (manufacturers model serial number, date

31、 of calibration, and the like). 3.7.4 Preproduction inspection. - Preproduction samples may be subjected by the Government to the group A inspection specified in Table II and to the pre- production inspection specified in Table I. Unlisted nondestructive inspection on preproduction samples may be pe

32、rformed to determine compliance with speci- fied requirements. Preproduction inspection will normally be performed in this order: (1) vibration, (2) bounce, (3) shock, drop; other preproduction inspection may precede, follow, or be interspersed between the foregoing. 37、g conditions. (a) Temperature. -Continuous exposure for 72 hours at 160“ F and 72 hours at -80“F, at any orientation. (b) Relative humidity. - Relative humidity up to 100 percent, including condensation caused by temperature changes. (c) Immersion. - See. 4. 8. (d) Vibration. bounce, and drop, - See

38、 3. 9. 3.9 Vibration, bounce, and shock. - 3.9.1 Vilration. - Except for internal resonance of specified parts and subassemblies, the equipment shall have no mechanical resonance below 55 cycles per second. 3.9.2 Bounce. - The equipment shall meet full specification performance and show no physical

39、damage except surface abrasion when subjected to the test of 4. 10. 3.9.3 Shock, drop. - The equipment shall be operable after subjection to the test of 4.11. Minor mechanical damage is permissible. 3.10 Marking. - Marking shall conform to Bpecification MIL-M-13231. 3,lO. 1 Serial numbers. - Serial

40、numbers under Specification MIL-M-13231 are not required. 3.11 Technical literature. - Technical literature shall be furnished as specified by the contract. 3.12 Workmanship. - Components, subassemblies, and parts shall be manu- factured and assembled in a thoroughly workmanlike manner. 4. QUALITY A

A General Radio Wave Analyzer 736-A, or equal, arranged as a balanced voltmet er shall be used as a sensitive measuring device ter

49、minated by a 600 ohm + 10 olm resistor. The insertion loss of the filter shall then be measured as shown in Figure 3. The values of the insertion loss shall meet the requirements of paragraph 3.4.2.
