16、andarddescribesgeneralrequirementsforequipmentusedinvisualtesting. Theapplicationofequipmentisnecessaryinvisualtestingwhen: objects,whicharevisuallyoronaccountofenvironmentalfactorsnotaccessible,needtobemadeaccessible toviewing; thetestsensitivityisinsufficient; animagingrecordisrequired. ThisEurope

20、EN133010:2003apply. 4Classification Equipmentwhichisusedinvisualtestingisclassifiedaccordingtothevisualtestingtechnique(directorremoteas describedinEN13018)andisoutlinedfurtherininformativeannexA. 5Verification 5.1General Verificationshallbecarriedouttoensurethattheequipmentortestarrangement(system)

21、willfulfilitstestfunction. Thismayincludecheckingthemechanical,opticalandelectroniccapabilityoftheequipment. Theverificationofthesystemandthetestsensitivityshallbebycomparisonwiththespecificationinthetest documentation.Whencomparing,testingparametersshallbeasfollows.EN13927:2003(E) 5 Systemsensitivi

22、tyorresolutionwillbeassessedbyusingaresolutiontargetordemonstrationtestpieceasper thetestdocumentation.(See6.3forselectionconsiderationsandtargettypes.) Equipmentandconditionsshallbearrangedaspertheactualtestwiththewholesystem. Attentionshallbegiventotheacceptancecriteriaandtheexpectedorientationofi

23、ndications.Forelectronic systemscareneedstobetakenwithorientationofthearrangementsuchthatindicationsarenotfalselyhiddenin theimagetransferfromopticaltoelectronicform.Forexampleanindicationcouldbehiddenorindistinguishable duetothemethodofimagesensoroperation. Verificationtestparametersshallberecorded

24、atthetimeoftest.Testparametersrequiredshallinclude: illumination; targettypeandsize; targettoopticorimagesensordistance; magnification. Theverificationtestparametersandresultsshallbeincludedintheposttestdocumentation. 5.2Verificationfrequency Verificationshallbemadeatthestartandendofeverytestsession

25、Itisalsorecommendedthattheverificationis checkedonceeveryfourhours. Thecheckcanbeasimplerformoftheverification. Verificationshallberepeatedwhentheoperatorsuspectsthatamalfunctionhasoccurred. Whentheverificationorcheckfailsaretestshallberequiredofallareascoveredsincetheprevioussatisfactory check. 6

26、Requirementsfortypicalequipmentusedforvisualtesting 6.1Generalequipmentselection Allequipmentshallbeselectedinconsiderationoftheconditionsonsiteandusagesothat: theyconformwithapplicablesafetyregulations; attachedpartsaresecure; mechanicalstrengthissuitableforthetask; temperaturerangeissuitableforthe

Whereequipmentistobeusedunderwaterorinacorrosiveenvironment,additionalattentionshallbepaidto: corrosion resistance; watertightnesstotheexpecteddepthofimmersion; avoidanceofanaccumulationofgasbubblesatthewatertoglassinterface; methodofhandlingunderwater.EN13927:2003(E) 6 Whereequipmentistobeuse

28、dinanionisingradiationenvironment,additionalattentionshallbepaidto: handlinginatimesavingmannerinconsiderationofexposuretoionisingradiation; decontamination; resistancetothelevelsofionisingradiationexpectedduringserviceofthechosenmaterials,especiallyglass andelectric/electronicparts; influenceofioni

29、singradiationonimagequalityandhowthiscanbekeptlowbycorrespondingmeasures(e.g. shielding). 6.2Lighting 6.2.1 Lightingequipmentselection Lightingequipmentshallbeselectedfortheirapplicabilitybyconsideringtherelevantpointsfromthefollowinglist: light intensity; lightfrequency(stroboscopiclight); spectral

30、rangeoflightoutput(colourtemperature); beam geometry; positionoflightfocus. 6.2.2 Lightingrequirements Thelightintensityshallbecheckedbycalibratedequipmentagainsttherequirementsofthetestdocumentation and5.3ofEN13018:2001. 6.3Resolutiontargets 6.3.1 Resolutiontargetselection Resolutiontargetsshallbes
