26、r identification; yy-ww (year-week) 8 Assembly instructions 8.1 Tooling The hot air generator shall have a minimum output of 800 W and the temperature in the heating zone shall be 420 C 20 C. 8.2 Procedure The product is delivered as a kit comprising: the connector body with hardware; the contact; t

27、he ferrule; a heat-shrinkable sleeve. EN 3716-003:20068 8.3 Procedure with screen connection The assembly operation is carried out in the following phases, strip cable as shown in Figure 3. 1 Pre-position heat-shrinkable sleeve and ferrule on the cable Dimensions in millimetres 2 Expose the braid by

30、ings melt and then continue for about 5 s 13 Visually inspect: ensure that the solder preforms have melted 14 Insert the contact in the connector 15 Install the ferrule 16 Heat with a hot air generator until the solder ring melts and then continue for about 5 s 17 Visually inspect: ensure that the s

31、older preform has melted and the screening braid is in position. 18 Take the heat-shrinkable sleeve over the ferrule and shrink it, beginning on the connector side.
