18、ements and test procedures for cable ties for harnesses for aircraft use. This standard does not include accessories such as mounting brackets, identification lags or reusable cable ties. 2 Normative references The following referenced documents are indispensable for the application of this document

20、es Test methods 3 Definitions For the purposes of this standard the definitions in EN 4056-001 apply. 4 General test conditions 4.1 Preparation of specimens for test Unless otherwise specified, the specimens shall be placed in a chamber maintained at a temperature of (20 21+) C with a relative humid
21、ity of (20 5) % for 24 h. Immediately upon removal from the chamber the specimens shall be stored (20 5) C, in an airtight container for a minimum of 30 min. When required, the specimens shall be installed on the test fixtures immediately on removal from the airtight container. 4.2 Installation of s
22、pecimens on test fixtures Cable ties shall be installed with a qualified application tool, set to the required tension as defined in the ap-propriate product standard. 4.3 Atmospheric environment The tests shall be carried out under the following normal atmospheric environment: temperature of (20 5)
23、 C. In the event of a dispute, the tests shall be conducted at (23 2) C; relative humidity (r.h.) not greater than 80 %.
