Thetestpiecemaybeshorterprovidedthattheremainingcylindricalpartofthetestpieceafterexpansionisatleast 0,5 D. 5.2 Bothendsofthetestpieceshallbeintheplaneperpendiculartotheaxiso
28、fthetube.Theedgesoftheendto betestedmayberoundedbyfilingorchamferedbyothermethods. NOTENonroundedornonchamferededgesarepermissibleifthetestresultmeetsthetestrequirements. 5.3 Whenweldedtubesaresubjectedtothetest,theinternalweldflashmayberemoved. 6Procedure 6.1 Ingeneral,thetestshallbecarriedoutatamb
29、ienttemperaturewithinthelimitsof10Cto35C.Thetest carriedoutundercontrolledconditionsshallbemadeatatemperatureof23C 5C. 6.2 Forcetheconicalmandrelintothetestpiece,withoutshock,untiltherequiredoutsidediameterisreached.The axisoftheconicalmandrel shallbealignedwiththeaxisofthetube. Themaximumoutsidedia

32、equirementsofthe relevantproductstandard.Whentheserequirementsarenotspecified,thetestpieceshallbeconsideredtohave passedthetestifnocracksarevisiblewithouttheuseofmagnifyingaids.Slightcrackingattheedgesshallnotbe consideredcauseforrejection.
