42、nthasbeenmodified.This informationshallalsoberecordedonanycertificateofconformityandtheprocedureshouldbeincludedintheusers qualitymanual. 5.2.3 Somepistonpipettesaredesignedtohavetheirfactorypresetadjustmentalteredbytheusersothattheywill dispensetheirspecifiedvolumewhenusedwithliquidswithphysicalpro

43、pertiesdifferingfromthoseofwater(see annex Bfordetails).Insuchcases,thedesignshallpreventunintentionalreadjustment.Suchuseradjustmentshall bemadeaccordingtothemanufacturersinstructionsandbyreferencetothegravimetrictestmethodspecifiedin ISO 86556,butusingtheselectedliquidinsteadofwater.
