6、ethod: Specimens shall be conditioned at -29 C for 5 h minimum and subjected to 40 J impact within 5 s after removal from the cold chamber. A Gardner Impact Tester, equipped with a 12.7 mm impact head and a 51 mm diameter base, shall be used for the test. A pass shall be defined as a slight tear, le
7、ss than 12.7 mm, or no tear on the reverse side of the impact specimen. Any specimen which cracks more than 12.7 mm shall be defined as a failure. 3.3.8 Heat Deflection Temperature, min (ASTM D 648) At 0.45 MPa 132 C At 1.82 MPa 121 C 3.3.9 Molded Parts Specific requirements for physical properties
8、of molded parts, when required, shall be specified on the engineering drawings or the engineering specification. 3.3.10 Fade (unpainted, color pigmented only) (FLTM BN 001-01) The material shall not stain, exhibit color tone change or change in hue, in accordance with rating 5 of the AATCC chart for
9、 measuring transference of color after 120 SFH exposure. Production material shall exhibit lightfastness qualities equal to or better than the master sample approved by the Body Materials Engineering Department. 3.3.11 Flammability, max 100 mm/minute (FLTM BN 024-02, without the Self-extinguishing (
10、SE) lot sampling plan) In addition, the test specimen shall not exhibit any flashing or sudden flaming on either surface in excess of the above maximum value. 3.3.12 Paintability When painted, for interior use, the part shall conform to the requirements of ESB-M2P83-A. 5.
