2、-M7H42-C1/C61. SCOPEThe mate rial defined by this specification is a uniformly woven beltwebbing with improved resistanc e to twisting. The webbing has to meet ECE16.04.2. APPLICATIONThis specification was released originally for material used for inertiareel and/or static type safety belts in autom

3、otive vehicles.3. REQUIREMENTSTh e material must be conditioned for a minimum of 24 h at 23 +/- 2 C and50 +/- 5 % relative humidity prior to test and tested under the sameconditions.3.1 APPEARANCEColour, pattern and fin ish shall match the Master Sample as releasedby the Design department.3.2 IDENTI

8、g drawings.3.4 CONSTRUCTION AND COMPOSITIONConstruction and compos ition of the webbing are at the discretion ofth e supplier, providing his product fully meets all of theperformance requirements laid down in this material specification.Each supplier must provide the Materials Laboratory, at the tim

9、e heseeks approval and reapproval for his material, with accurateconstruction, composition and original tensile s trength values x.bar-3S of minimum 20 tests.3.5 TENSILE STRENGTH(SAE Standard J4C, Paragraph 7.2)The webbing will be rejected if either edge of t he test sample breakswithin 5 % of the m

10、ax. breaking load being attained. After removalfrom water, shake off excess liquid and conduct the tensilestrength assessment within 5 minutes.3.5.3 Tensile Strength at Low Temperaturemin 80 % of its origi

13、nal value.Place the test specimen in a cold box maintained at minus 30+/- 2 C o n a flat surface for 1 1/2 hours. Fold the testspecimen upon itself and place a weight of 2 kg upon the bentsection for 30 minutes. The weight must be prev iously cooledto ambient temperature in the cold box. The ten sil

14、e strengthassessment is conducted within 5 minutes after removal fromthe cold box.3.5.4 Tensile Strength after Humidity Ageingmin 80 % of its original value.Place the test specimen in a humidity cabinet maintained at60 +/- 2 C and relative humidity of 65 +/- 5 % for 3 h. Thetens ile strength must be

15、 assessed within 5 minutes afterremoval from the humidity cabinet.3.5.5 Tensile Strength after Abrasion Testing(SAE J4C Paragraph 7.4, 2500 cycles)min 80 % of its original value.Abraded test samples should lie flat.3.5.6 Tensile Strength after Fadeometer Ageing(FLTM EU-BN 17-1, 200 SFH)min 60 % of i

Increase the force to 11 kN atthe s ame rate. Measure the elongation. Reduce the force to theoriginal 200 N at the same rate. Re-measure

19、the distance between thetwo marks of the test span. Plot the force/elon gation curve as shownin Fig. 1. Point A represents the point at which the force isincre ased from 200 N. 30、materials flame retardant propertiesand changes in mechanical, chemical and physical properties perSKM-9 9P 9500-A, Table 1 applicable to the basic materialcategory of this particular specification.3.19 STATISTICAL PROCESSSupplie rs must conform to the requirements of Ford Quality SystemStand ard Q-

31、101. A mutually acceptable Control Plan as describedtherein is required for material/source approval. Appropriatestatist ical tools must be used to analyze process/product data sothat variation in the final product is continuously reduced.3.20 SUPPLIERS RESPONSIBILITYAll materials supplied to this s

32、pecification must be equivalent inal l characteristics to the material upon which approval wasoriginally granted.Pri or to making any change in the properties, composition,const ruction, colour, processing or labelling of the materialorig inally approved under this specification, whether or not such

33、change s affect the materials ability to meet the specificationrequir ements, the Supplier shall notify Purchasing, Toxicology andthe affected Materials Engineering activity of the proposed changesand obtain the written approval of the Materials Engineeringactivity. Test data, t est samples and a ne

34、w code identification areto be submitted with the request.Substance restrictions imposed by law, regulations or Ford, apply tothe materials addressed by this document. The restrictions aredefined in Engineering Material Specification WS S-M99P9999-A1, unlessa dif ferent suffix (e.g. A2 or A3) is spe

35、cified on the engineeringdocument for the application.4. APPROVAL OF MATERIALSMat erials defined by this specification must have prior approval by theresp onsible Materials Engineering activity. Suppliers desiring approvalof thei r materials shall first obtain an expression of interest from theaffec

36、 ted Purchasing, Design and Materials Engineering activity. Uponrequest, the Supplier shall submit to the affected Materials Engineeringactivity its own laboratory rep ort to the specification (test results, notnominal values), the material designation and code number, and testspecim ens for Ford evaluation. Upon approval, the material will be addedto the Engineering Material Approved Source List.
