SCOPEThis specification defines the pro
2、perties of a filled PTFE dry filmlubricant.2. APPLICATIONThis specification was released originally for film used to provide lowfriction, low wear properties without lubrication, for parts such as thecarburetor override lever.3. REQUIREMENTS3.1 PREPARATION AND TESTING OF PANELSFor initial approval a

The film shall be applied byspray and cured 1 h at 121 C metal temperature. Analternate cure is 45 minutes at 135 C. This coating may beapplied to other substrates such

Shall also be smooth to thetouch and free of cracks when observed at a mag

The specified coatingthickness shall be required only on such surfaces of partsother than threads or holes, as can be touched by a sphere0.5 in (12.7 mm) in diameter unless otherwise noted ondrawings. On other surfaces such as those of holes, recesses, threads, etc., wher

Acceptance or rejection ofparts submitted to this specification will be based onthickness and salt spray results on significant surfaces.3.2.2 Infrared SpectrophotometryFord Motor Company, a

All samples shall produce curvesthat correspond to the reference standard whe
