SCOPE The materials defined by this specification are fine denier, bulked continuous filament (BCF) nylon, cut pile carpets, tufted into a synthetic primary foundat

3、ion. The material is coated with a latex backcoating. 2. APPLICATION This material was released originally for material used on accessory mats. 3. REQUIREMENTS In addition to the requirements listed herein, the end-item carpet or mat assembly (molded or otherwise fabricated), shall meet all applicab

4、le performance specifications and/or requirements specified on the engineering drawing. 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.4 SAMPLE SELECTION All eval

5、uations shall be conducted on test specimens taken from finished roll goods prior to any subsequent operations, such as reheating or molding. 3.5 APPEARANCE (FLTM BI 109-01) The color, pattern, and finish shall match the approved Design Center master sample, or shall be as specified on the engineeri

8、2.1 Rows and stitches per 100 mm shall be based on an average count on a 254 mm length of carpet and shall not exceed - 2/100 mm. 3.7.3 Foundation Material Primary * (Tufting Foundation) Secondary - (Backing Material) *As specified on the Approved Source List 3.7.4 Backcoating Latex: WSS-M3H115-A2 T

9、he latex shall form a continuous and uniform coating over the back of the carpet so that all pile fibers are covered. The latex shall maintain its ability to lock in the pile fibers in the end-item carpet assembly. The latex shall thoroughly saturate the base of the pile fiber bundles to ensure adeq

10、uate tuft lock. Penetration of the latex through to the face shall be controlled to provide the required resistance to abrasion and fiber loss, but it shall not be visible on the face of the pile fiber. 3.7.5 Needle Gauge 2.5 mm 3.7.6 Pile Height, min 4.0 mm (ASTM D 418) ENGINEERING MATERIAL SPECIFI
