The cover shall then be tightly screwed down. 5.3.3 The closed test assembly shall be weighed to the nearest 1 mg and stored in the desiccators filled with 1000 g silica gel for (46 to 48) h. 5.3.4 After this test period the test assembly shall be reweighed to the nearest 1 mg. 6 Evaluation a

12、nd Rating 6.1 The water vapor permeability shall be calculated on the basis of the mass decrease in mg per 24 h referred to 10 cm test area (orifice area of screw-on cover). 6.2 The formula for calculation as follows: Water vapor permeability = h24cm10 mg2 GG 21 G1 = Mass of test system prior to sto

Such requirements shall be specified on component drawings, test certificates, reports, etc. 7 Report For tests to this test method

14、, the water vapor permeability shall be recorded as the arithmetic average of the measured individual values rounded to the nearest 1 mg in mg/(10 cm2 x 24 h). 8 Safety This standard may involve hazardous materials, operations, and equipment. This standard does not propose to address all the safety
