4、eing in the original containerfor 90 days at 35 oC.3.2 Heat Ageing DurabilitySamples of finished parts shall be exposed to dry heat in an air circulatingoven as designated below. The parts shall be complete, and shall meet allappearance and dimensional requirements prior to testing. Where possible,t
5、he parts shall be mounted to closely simulate production installationconditions in accordance with applicable assembly instructions.3.2.1 Heat, Age, Time or any other defectwhich will affect appearance or serviceability of the part or assembly.Furthermore, there shall be no objectionable variation i

8、production samples to be selected on a random basis, torepresent the entire production population as closely as possible, and conditioned to23 2 0 C and 55 5% RH for 24 hours prior to testing.Test procedures:Set up sample as shown (refer figures of section 4.2). 9、es to the sample by a constant rate of extension machine with a crossheadspeed of 500 mm/minute.A chart recorder can be used to trace the force exerted when peeling the rubber fromthe aluminium. The peel strength is to be meassured in (kgf).Acceptance:The adhesion strength of the SBR to the aluminiu
10、m of both auto and manual brakepad assemblies shall be as follows:(i) Rubber button push out test:When buttons around the perimeter of the part are firmly pushed,separation between rubber and aluminium adjacent to the button on theedges of the pedal assembly is not allowed.(ii) Adhesion strength:Set
11、up test piece as per the above procedures, a peel force of 10 kgf min.shall be required to separate the bond between aluminium and rubber.(Note: A peel force of less than 10 kgf is permissible when rubber tearingoccurs).4.1 Adhesion of Surface Material to Substrate (Conditioned Sample)The adhesion o
12、f the SBR to the aluminium must meet a minimum peel strengthof 5 kgf or exhibit substrate delamination following exposure to 23 2 C and 55 5 % RH for 24 hours (and after exposure to Clauses 3.2, 3.3 and 3.4Peel strength should be measured using a 25 x 50 mm sample that is peeled180 degrees by a cons
