SCOPE1.1 FormThis specification establishes the requirements for various types and colors of electrical insulating sleeving that will shrink to a predetermined size upon the application of heat. This specification inc

7、ludes provisions for demonstrating compliance with qualification requirements (see Section 4 and 7.3), in process inspection, and statistical process control inspections (see 4.4). The continuous operating temperature ranges for the sleeving classes covered by this specification are from -112to +482

8、 F (-80 to +250 C). The continuous operating temperature range for each sleeving class is given in the applicable detail specification.1.2 ClassificationThe heat shrinkable sleeving class shall be defined and specified in the applicable detail specification.1.3 ColorThe color shall be identified in

36、QUALIFICATION INSPECTION: Qualification Inspection is a process that demonstrates that a component is capable of fully conforming to all the requirements defined in a standard. Qualification Inspection includes definition of the measurements, tests, analysis, and associated data which provides consi

37、stent rationale for acceptance of a particular suppliers design as meeting the standard requirements typically prior to acquisition by the Purchaser.2.2.2 QUALIFIED PRODUCTS LIST: A Qualified Products List is a list of suppliers whose products have been evaluated to a defined process and who are aut

38、horized to provide those products to a purchaser upon request. When a Qualified Products List is specified, only approved suppliers are authorized to provide products under the part number defined in the component standard. A Qualified Products List is established by a Qualifying Activity.2.2.3 QUAL

42、manufacturer or distributor approved by the qualified supplier and the qualifying activity to sell the original suppliers product as the rebrand suppliers own product defined by the rebrand supplier part number.
