26、ht entspre-chend den Gesetzen und Verordnungen der einzelnenBundeslnder. Bestattung ist die mit religisem oderweltanschaulichem Brauchtum verbundene ber-gabe des menschlichen Leichnams an die Elemente.Dabei sind in Deutschland zwei rechtlich gleichge-stellte Arten gebruchlich: Erdbestattung in dafr

27、ausgewiesenen Bestat-tungspltzen oder in dafr errichteten Anlagen Feuerbestattung in dafr ausgewiesenen Bestat-tungspltzen oder in dafr errichteten AnlagenDas Verbringen der nach der Kremation mit Aschegefllten Urne in ein Grab oder ein Kolumbariumwird als Urnenbeisetzung bezeichnet.Humankremationsa

28、nlagen sind Einrichtungen, dieausschlielich der Kremation von verstorbenen Men-schen dienen. Hinsichtlich der Anforderungen anPiett und Wrde ist die Feuerbestattung der Erdbe-stattung gleichzustellen. Insbesondere ergeben sichfolgende ethische Anforderungen an den Ablauf derFeuerbestattung: Der Abla

29、uf der Kremation ist zu jeder Zeit wr-dig, piettvoll und individuell zu gestalten. Der Leichnam ist in bereinstimmung mit den re-gionalen Traditionen und den anerkannten fach-lichen Regeln angemessen zu bedecken und zuschtzen. Jede Kremation ist einzeln durchzufhren, sodasskeine Vermischung von Asch

30、en stattfindet. In einem Krematorium drfen ausschlielichmenschliche sterbliche berreste in dem zur Kre-mation vorgesehenen Behltnis eingeschert wer-den. Jede Person hat das Recht, die Bestattungsart derKremation, den Ort der Kremation und die Artund Weise des Verbleibs seiner Asche im Rahmenbestehen

31、der gesetzlicher Vorschriften zu verf-gen. Es ist einem entsprechenden Wunsch nachzu-kommen, in welcher Form dieser Wunsch auchimmer festgehalten worden ist. Es sind angemessene Manahmen zu treffen, umeine hinreichende Feststellung der Person desVerstorbenen von der Einlieferung in das Krema-torium

32、ber die Kremation bis zur weiteren Ver-wendung der Asche jederzeit sicherzustellen. Jedwede Verwendung von Produkten oder Rck-stnden aus der Asche des Verstorbenen bedarfder Einwilligung des Verstorbenen oder der Zu-stimmung des/der Totenfrsorgeberechtigten. 34、n, a distinction is made between twoforms of final disposition that have equal status be-fore the law: burial (interment) on dedicated burial grounds orfacilities especially provided for this purpose cremation at designated sites or facilities espe-cially built for this purposeThe placement of the u

35、rn holding the cremated re-mains into a grave or a columbarium is referred to asfinal disposition of the urn.Human cremation facilities are facilities that are usedexclusively for the cremation of dead human bodies.Regarding the standards of dignity and respect to beobserved, there is no difference

36、between cremationand burial. Ethical standards to be observed for thecremation proceedings include in particular: The cremation has to be performed in a personalatmosphere with the greatest reverence and re-spect at all times. The dead body has to be properly covered andprotected in line with the re

37、gional traditions andthe recognised principles of good practice. Each body has to be cremated separately so as topreclude comingling of the ashes. Only human remains encased in the container de-signed for the cremation are allowed to be cre-mated at a crematorium. Each individual has the right to di

38、rect within theconstraints of the existing legislation his/her finaldisposition by cremation, the location of the cre-mation and how the cremated remains are to bedisposed of. A wish to this respect has to be hon-oured regardless of the form in which it was docu-mented. Suitable measures have to be

39、implemented to en-sure correct identification of the decedentthroughout the whole proceedings from the mo-ment the coffin is received until the final disposi-tion of the ashes. The use of products or residues from the crematedremains requires the pre-mortal consent of the de-cedent or the consent of

40、 the death care proxy/proxies. Alle Mitarbeiter eines Krematoriums mssen beider Erledigung ihrer Aufgaben fachkundig seinoder entsprechende Qualifikationen besitzen. Mitarbeiter eines Krematoriums, die in irge

42、nd-einer Form bei der Kremation mitwirken, habensich zu jeder Zeit an die ethischen Regeln zu hal-ten.Aufgabe dieser Richtlinie ist es, den derzeitigen Stand der Technik der Krema-tionsanlagen zu beschreiben, Ursachen fr das Auftreten von schdlichen Um-welteinwirkungen aufzuzeigen, Manahmen zum Verm

43、eiden und Mindern vonschdlichen Umwelteinwirkungen zu beschrei-ben, Hinweise und Empfehlungen zur Beschrnkungder Emissionen und messtechnische Anleitungenzur Ermittlung dieser Emissionswerte zu gebenund Gesichtspunkte zur Sicherheit aufzuzeigen.In Hinblick auf Bestattungsdienstleistungen wird aufDIN

44、 EN 15017 verwiesen.Gegenber der Vorgngerversion VDI 3891:2013-03wurde im Abschnitt 8 zur Klarstellung ein dritter Ab-schnitt ergnzt.1 AnwendungsbereichDiese Richtlinie beschreibt den Stand der Technikvon Humankremationsanlagen, gibt Hinweise aufund Empfehlungen zu Emissionsminderungsma-nahmen, nenn

Sie ist gleicher-maen Arbeitsmittel fr Bauherren und Betreiber,Planer und ausfhrende Firmen, Hersteller und Be-zieher von Srgen und Bestattungszubehr, Auf-sichts- und berwachungsorgane sowie Prfinstitu-tionen und Behrden.2 BegriffeFr
