25、e la CEI). La CEI a pour objet de favoriser la coopration internationale pour toutes les questions de normalisation dans les domaines de llectricit et de llectronique. A cet effet, la CEI, entre autres activits, publie des Normes internationales. Leur laboration est confie des comits dtudes, aux tra

26、vaux desquels tout Comit national intress par le sujet trait peut participer. Les organisations internationales, gouvernementales et non gouvernementales, en liaison avec la CEI, participent galement aux travaux. Cette troisime dition annule et remplace la deuxime dition parue en 1987 et son amendement 1 (1991), dont elle constitue une rvision technique. Les principales modifications techniques par rapport ldition prcdente de la prsente Norme internationale consistent en une adaptation des prescriptions en matire de performances des appareils conformment lapproche de li

36、 EXPRESSION OF PERFORMANCE FOREWORD 1) The IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) is a worldwide organization for standardization comprising all national electrotechnical committees (IEC National Committees). The object of the IEC is to promote international co-operation on all questions co

37、ncerning standardization in the electrical and electronic fields. To this end and in addition to other activities, the IEC publishes International Standards. Their preparation is entrusted to technical committees; any IEC National Committee interested in the subject dealt with may participate in thi

38、s preparatory work. International, governmental and non-governmental organizations liaising with the IEC also participate in this preparation. The IEC collaborates closely with the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) in accordance with conditions determined by agreement between the

39、two organizations. 2) The formal decisions or agreements of the IEC on technical matters express, as nearly as possible, an international consensus of opinion on the relevant subjects since each technical committee has representation from all interested National Committees. 3) The documents produced

40、 have the form of recommendations for international use published in the form of standards, technical specifications, technical reports or guides and they are accepted by the National Committees in that sense. 4) In order to promote international unification, IEC National Committees undertake to app

41、ly IEC International Standards transparently to the maximum extent possible in their national and regional standards. Any divergence between the IEC Standard and the corresponding national or regional standard shall be clearly indicated in the latter. 5) The IEC provides no marking procedure to indi

42、cate its approval and cannot be rendered responsible for any equipment declared to be in conformity with one of its standards. 6) Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this International Standard may be the subject of patent rights. The IEC shall not be held responsible

43、for identifying any or all such patent rights. International Standard IEC 60359 has been prepared by IEC technical committee 85: Measuring equipment for electrical and electromagnetic quantities. This third edition cancels and replaces the second edition published in 1987 and its amendment 1 (1991),

44、 of which it constitutes a technical revision. The text of this standard is based on the following documents: FDIS Report on voting 85/219/FDIS 85/220/RVD Full information on the voting for the approval of this standard can be found in the report on voting indicated in the above table. This Internat

45、ional Standard was prepared by IEC TC 85 following its resolution 85/45/AC of 1994-12-16 “to revise the IEC 60359, taking into account the “Guide to the Expression of Uncertainty in Measurement“ (GUM) published by ISO in 1993”. The main technical changes from the previous edition of this Internation

46、al Standard consist in adapting the requirements on the instrument performance to the approach on uncertainty taken by the GUM, adapting the terminology to the new edition of the IEV, and offering a wider and more correct choice of options in specifying the limits of uncertainty. 6 60359 CEI:2001 Le
