The work of preparing International Standards is normally carried out through ISO

8、 technical committees. Each member body interested in a subject for which a technical committee has been established has the right to be represented on that committee. 13、efines a number of types of foundation insulating systems and outlines the different roles the insulation play within each system. This part of ISO 12575 outlines the responsibilities for the installer to install the material in accordance with the manufacturers instructions and in accordance with l

14、ocal regulations and to document that this has been done. The designer has the responsibility for selecting the actual product in accordance with the minimum requirements in this specification for that type of system. The designer is required to consult the appropriate product standard for the produ

15、ct selected. The manufacturer has the responsibility to produce the product according to any applicable material specification, declare that their product type meets the requirements of this standard, declare the fitness for the intended use and label the product according to this standard. The inst

16、aller is required to install the product in accordance with the manufacturers instructions; assume the responsibilities for installation and be responsible for meeting local government regulations. Development of this part of ISO 12575 includes a review of applicable CEN documents and CEN material i

18、tallers of exterior insulating systems for foundations such that a product that is manufactured and packaged in accordance with ISO 12575-1 is able to provide the properties declared by the manufacturer when installed according to this part of ISO 12575. This part of ISO 12575 stipulates responsibil

19、ities of the installer in the installation of the exterior insulation system, documentation of the installation and a declaration by the installer that all requirements of this part of ISO 12575 have been met. This part of ISO 12575 does not specify the fitness of the product for the intended use be

20、yond those aspects relating to installation. Many aspects relating to the fitness for use are specified in ISO 12575-1. The installer can be required to meet additional requirements specified in local regulations or the customers requirements. 2 Normative references The following referenced document

21、s are indispensable for the application of this document. For dated references, only the edition cited applies. 22、nsulating systems for foundations Part 1: Specification 3 Terms and definitions For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in ISO 9229 apply. 4 Requirements 4.1 General requirements The installer shall ensure that the product for installation be suitable for the application,

23、based on jurisdiction requirements and the manufacturers recommendations. The installer shall ensure that the product for installation has been declared by the manufacturer to meet the requirements of ISO 12575-1.ISO 12575-2:2007(E) 2 ISO 2007 All rights reserved 4.2 Detailed requirements The instal

24、ler is responsible for obtaining training on the means by which the manufacturer declares conformity to ISO 12575-1 and on how to interpret the manufacturers marking on the product. The installer shall ensure that the insulation has a reasonably uniform insulating value over the entire face of the i

25、nsulated area. The installer shall ensure that the installed insulation levels can meet or exceed either the minimum jurisdiction requirements or the engineered, energy-efficient design specification. The installer shall ensure that any insulation that is exposed to the weather or subject to mechani

26、cal damage be protected. This protection shall extend far enough into the soil to account for settlement of the soil over time. The installer shall ensure, when carbon steel connectors, frame or furring are used, that these members are corrosion-resistant. 5 Applications This part of ISO 12575 appli

27、es to perimeter walls, frost walls and load-bearing applications with fastened, adhered, furred, frame or soil-pressure methods of holding insulation and any protection boards or protective surfacing in position. Applications shall comply with any job specifications, together with building code requ

28、irements, manufacturers installation instructions, or good building practices. 6 Site testing In case of a dispute between a manufacturer and an installer that cannot be resolved, tests by an accredited third party testing agency to the appropriate material standard shall be accepted. In case of an

29、application dispute between an installer and an owner or owners agent that cannot be resolved, opinions by a mutually recognized and qualified professional shall be accepted. NOTE Installers are not expected to do quality-assurance testing of insulation, fasteners, furring framing or protection mate

30、rials; this is the responsibility of the material manufacturer prior to shipment. 7 Marking and labelling 7.1 Manufacturers marking The Installer shall determine where or by what means the manufacturer declares conformity to ISO 12575-1. The installer shall identify, verify and record how the materi

31、al was marked on the daily work record. 7.2 Job-site label The installer shall attach a job-site label on each complete application, in a prominent location on the site, to identify the application as meeting the requirements of this part of ISO12575 and the manufacturers instructions. 8 Documentati
