Although it does include recom-mendations for training wireline personnel on general rig wellcontrol equipment and theory, it should be noted that the mainfocus for training should be those operations using a lubricatoras the primary well control mechanism. Wireline personnelclassifications to wh

24、ich this RP is applicable are the Helper/Assistant and Operator/Supervisor. This RP is intended for thedevelopment of training courses with well-defined curriculaand includes recommendations for testing to assure that a can-didate is qualified when he/she completes a course.The employer should maint

25、ain a record of the trainingwhich each employee receives in accordance with this RP.Each employee should be furnished documentation of thesuccessful completion of each level of training.1.2 POLICYThis RP may be used by a company or educational institu-tion to develop and conduct a qualification prog

26、ram as out-lined above. However, the Institute makes no representation,warranty or guarantee in connection with the publication ofany API specification, or recommended practice, and herebyexpressly disclaims any liability or responsibility for loss ordamage resulting from their use, for any violatio

27、n of any fed-eral, state or municipal regulation with which an API specifi-cation or recommended practice may conflict, or for theinfringement of any patent resulting from the use of an APIspecification or recommended practice.2 Guidelines for Course Curricula2.1 INTRODUCTIONThis section describes t

28、he knowledge and skills that shouldbe presented to the candidate through classroom lectures andhands-on demonstrations. Curriculum content is described ona general basis for each wireline crew member classification.Specific detail should be developed by each training organi-zation using the criteria

29、 contained in this section as a guide-line. A training program developed by a contractor oroperator should be directed toward the well control equip-ment and techniques most widely used in their respectiveoperations.Other organizations offering training programs shoulddevelop a detailed curriculum d

30、irected toward well controlequipment and techniques most widely used offshore.The training programs may be conducted wherever theparticular part of the course curriculum can be presented mosteffectively, whether it be on the rig, platform, in a classroom,or a training facility at another location. 31、ach candidate should be provided with a manual contain-ing the course materials for future reference and review. 2.2 WIRELINE HELPER/ASSISTANT TRAINING REQUIREMENTS FOR QUALIFICATION IN WELL CONTROL OPERATIONSa. Instructions on Relevant Governmental RegulationsThe candidate should receive instructions on governmen-tal regulations that are pertinent both to their work and to wellcontrol activities. Instructions on Blowout Prevention EquipmentThe candidate should receive general instructions withinthe first 6 months of their employment on the purpose, opera-tion, and maintenance of the following, consistent with theirassigned duties:1.
