23、is standard is to prescribe test meth-ods for determining the moisture removal capacity andefficiency, the pool heating capacity, and sensible andtotal cooling capacity for indoor pool dehumidifiers.2. SCOPE2.1 This standard applies to indoor pool dehumidifiersusing electrically driven, mechanical v

24、apor-compressionrefrigeration systems consisting of one or more factory-made assemblies that dehumidify and circulate air andmay include pool water heating, air reheating, cooling,filtering, and heat recovery.2.2 Systems other than the above are excluded.3. INSTRUMENTS3.1 Temperature-Measuring Instr

25、uments3.1.1 All temperature measurements shall be made inaccordance with ANSI/ASHRAE Standard 41.1 StandardMethod for Temperature Measurement.3.2 Pressure-Measuring Instruments3.2.1 Pressure measurements shall be made in accor-dance with ASHRAE Standard 41.3 Standard Method forPressure Measurement.

26、3.3 Air Differential Pressureand Airflow Measurements3.3.1 The static pressure difference across nozzles andvelocity pressures at nozzle throats shall be measuredaccording to ASHRAE Standard 41.6 Standard Methodfor Measurement of Moist Air Properties.3.4 Electrical Instruments3.4.1 Electrical measur

27、ements shall be made witheither indicating or integrating instruments.3.4.2 Instruments used for measuring the electricalpower input to fan motors, compressor motors, or otherequipment accessories shall be accurate to 1.0% of theindicated value.3.4.3 Instruments used for measuring the electricalpowe

28、r input to heaters or other apparatus furnishing heatloads shall be accurate to 1.0% of the quantity mea-sured.3.4.4 Voltages shall be measured at the equipment ter-minals. Instruments used for measuring voltages shall beaccurate to 1.0% of the quantity measured.3.5 Liquid Flow Measurement3.5.1 Wate

29、r flow rates shall be measured with a liquidflowmeter or quantity meter having an accuracy of 1.0%of the indicated value in accordance with ASHRAEStandard 41.8 Standard Methods of Measurement of Flowof Liquids in Pipes Using Orifice Flowmeters.3.5.2 Condensate collection rates shall be determinedusi

30、ng a liquid quantity meter having an accuracy of 1.0%of the indicated value. 3.6 Time and Mass Measurements3.6.1 Time interval measurements shall be made withan instrument having an accuracy of 0.2% of the indicatedvalue.3.6.2 Mass measurements shall be made with an instru-ment having an accuracy of

AIRFLOW AND AIR DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE MEASUREMENT APPARATUS4.1 Air Enthalpy Apparatus4.1.1 Recommended configurations for the test appara-tus are provided in ASHRAE Standard 41.2 StandardMethods for Laboratory Air-Flow Measurement at thedesired wet-bulb and dry-bulb

32、temperatures.4.2 Airflow-Measuring Apparatus4.2.1 Airflow measurements shall be made in accor-dance with ASHRAE Standard 41.2 Standard Methods forLaboratory Air-Flow Measurement.4.3 External Static-Pressure Measurements.4.3.1 External static pressure shall be measured inaccordance with ASHRAE Standa

33、rd 41.2 Standard Meth-ods for Laboratory Air-Flow Measurement.5. METHODS OF TESTING AND CALCULATION5.1 Standard Test Method5.1.1 The following test method for measuring space-conditioning capacity, for all component arrangementsshown in Table 1, is covered in this standard:a. Indoor Air Enthalpy Met

34、hod.5.1.2 For the validation of the air enthalpy measure-ments, it is required to use the cooling condensate massmethod. Section 5.2 describes a method for measuringcooling condensate and determining moisture removalcapacity. Condensate mass measurements shall be 5% ofmeasurement of air enthalpy tes

36、ty shall be determinedfrom the measurements of the condensate flow rate. 38、 Air Properties.5.3.2 This method shall be used for equipment havingtotal cooling capacities of less than 135,000 Btu/h(39.6 kW) and may be used for equipment with greatercapacities.5.3.3 Cooling Calculations5.3.3.1 Total, sensible, and latent indoor coolingcapacities, based on test data collected a
