、n The requirements and recommendations in this standard were originally included in the TIA-470-B standard (and previous versions of the TIA-470 standard). When TIA-470-B was revised, the requirements were divided into sub documents and ANSI/TIA-470.210-C was published with the requirements for the
、Resistance and Impedance Performance Requirements for Analog Telephones. ANSI/TIA-470.210-D modified the test setups and procedures for on-hook resistance and longitudinal impedance testing. It also included Addendum C-1 regarding the Longitudinal Balance requirement. ANSI/TIA-470.210-E added wideba
、nd requirements. This current revision removes Type-B ringing but retains Type-A. In 2015 TR41 received liaison confirmation from that support for Type-B ringing is no longer required. 43、phones 1 SCOPE This standard establishes criteria and procedures for evaluating the Resistance and Impedance performance of analog telephones and terminals. Such equipment may be connected to the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) to provide traditional narrowband (300 to 3300 Hz) wireline tel
、ephone service. It may also be connected to Analog Terminal Adapters (ATAs) and Voice Gateways (VGs) that provide packet-based services such as Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), some of which are capable of supporting wideband (100 to 7000 Hz) voice transmission. The dc resistance requirements an
、d many of the ac impedance requirements in this Standard apply equally to equipment in both bandwidth categories. Where appropriate, extended frequency range impedance requirements are specified for equipment intended to be used in wideband applications. The recommended on-hook requirements are writ
