Network services which could be offered in the subscribers preferred language include: Recorded announcements Directory assistance Operat

24、or services Emergency services “Help” lines Message Waiting Notification CNIP number not available CNIP number restricted If the subscribers preferred language is not available, service shall be provided in the default language, which shall be determined by the wireless network operator. PL does not

25、 impact a subscribers ability to originate calls or to receive calls. Applicability to Telecommunications Services PL is applicable to voice telecommunications services. 1.1 Normal Procedures with Successful Outcome Authorization PL may be generally available or may be provided after prearrangement

PL may be registered by a Variable Registration authorized subscriber by specifying the PL registration feature code. For example, a feature code and three digits representing the first three characters of

29、the native language desired, as in e.g., : *FC + 364 + SEND (ENGlish), *FC + 377 + SEND (ESPaol), *FC + 372 + SEND (FRAnais), *FC + 527 + SEND (JAPanese), *FC + 567 + SEND (KORean), or *FC + 767 + SEND ( PORtuges). If the registration is accepted, the system shall indicate success with feature confi

30、rmation treatment. Deregistration PL shall be deregistered upon deauthorization. Activation PL is activated upon authorization. Deactivation PL shall be deactivated upon deauthorization. Invocation PL is invoked: when the subscriber originates a call to a recorded announcement, operator service, ser

31、vice code, or “Help” line; when the subscriber is receiving a network generated message, such as a Message Waiting Notification or one of the Short Message Services. 33、corded announcement, to operator services (by dialing 0, 00, 0+ or 01+ codes), to service codes (by dialing X11), to information services (such as *HELP or #NYSE) or to similar spoken services, the service shall automatically be delivered to the subscriber in the preferred language. When a network g

34、enerated message, such as a Message Waiting Notification or one of the Short Message Services, is transmitted to the MS, the service shall automatically be delivered to the subscriber in the preferred language.1Call Detail Record The system should record call detail information for the following: a.
