8、re and assembly. The canister shall be manufactured and assembled as specified on Drawing 05-3-876. The airflow resistance of the assemble

9、d canister, measured as pressure differential, shall not exceed 65 millimeters of water at a flowrate of 85 liters per minute when tested as specified in 4.6.1. 3.4 Dioctyl phthalate (DOP) smoke penetration. The canister shall not show a DOP smoke penetration of more han 0,001 percent at a flowratt

10、of 32 liters per minute when tested as specified in 4.6.2. 3.5 Airflow resistance and DOP penetration after .rough handling. After rough handling for five minutes as specified in 4,6.3, the canister shall con- form to the requirements specified in 3.3 and 3.4, . 3,6 Leakage. The assembled canister s

11、hall not leak more than 5 milliliters per minute when subjected to an internal air pressure of 5.5 pounds per square inch gage when tested as specified in 4.6.4* 3.7 Preproduction, When specified in the contract or order, a preproduction sample shall be produced for examination and test. The preprod

12、uction sample shall be manufactured using the same materials, methods and equipment as will be used during regular production (see 6.2). 3,8 Workmanship, The canister shall be free from damage (dents, burrs, cracks, or deformations) and foreign matter (dirt, grease, oil, or viscous materia i) o 4. 13、UALITY ASSURANCE PROVISIONS 4.1 Responsibility for inspection. Unless otherwise specified in the contract or purchase order, the supplier is responsible for the performance of all inspec- tion requirements as specified herein. Except as otherwise specified, the suppl er may utilize his own facilitie

14、s or any commercial laboratory acceptable to the Government. The Government reserves the right to perform any of the . inspections set forth in the specification where such inspections are deemed necessary to assure suppl es and services conform to prescribed requirements, 4.2 Special provisions. 4.

15、2.1 Al temative inspection. The suppl er may utilize any al ternative inspection procedure which will provide equal or better assurance of quality by submitting a written proposal with justification and obtaining written dispute, the procedures of this specification will govern, - approval from the

16、Government prior to instituting the procedure. The suppl er shall provide objective evidence acceptable t

17、o the contracting officer that the requirements of 3, arid section 5 for which specific inspection has not been provided in this specifica- tion have been satisfied, 4,2,3 Substation inspection, If the supplier elects to establish inspection substations for the purpose of conducting inspection for c

18、ertain listed defects, the Acceptable Quality Levels (AQLs) for each inspection substation shall be equal to the AQL which is the next numerically lower value than the AQL speci- fied for the total listed defects, The requirements of MIL-STD-105 are applicable to each substation and to the end item,

19、 4.3 Lotting, A lot shall consist of the canisters produced by one manufacturer, at one plant, from the same materials, under essentially the same manufacturing conditions, However, no more than one lot of canister elements shall be represented in any one lot of finished canisten, 4,4 Sampl ing, 4,4

20、1 For examination and nondestructive tests, Sampling shall be conducted in accordance with MIL-STD-105, 4,4,2 For rough handling, Sampling shall be conducted in accordance with MIL-STD-105, levei S-4, 4,5 Inspection provisions, 4,5,1 Examination and nondestructive tests. 26、 4,6,2 DOP smoke penetration, The DOP smoke penetration shall be determined using +he Penetrometer, Filter Testing, DOP, Q127. 4,6,3 Rough handling, The canister shall be rough handled for five minutes using Machine, Vibrating, Q110, shall be tested as specified in 4,6,1 and 4,6,2. The canister shall be checked for leakage using a commercial can testing machine and subjecting the canister to the required internal pressure, 5, PREPARATION FOR DELIVERY (For repair parts packaging see 6,4,) 5,1 Packaging, Level shal I be as specified (see 6, Z), 5
