Nothing in this specification, however, shall supersede applicable laws and regulations unless a specific exemption has been obtained. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.1 Material. Material shall be in accordan

16、ce with the applicable drawings, specifications and standards. 3.2 Components and assemblies. The components and assemblies shall comply with all requirements specified on Drawing (Dwg-) 9330381 and all associated drawings and with all requirements specified in applicable specifications and standard

17、s. 3.3 Safe kondition and circuit continuity verification. 3.3.1 S details associated with intended use, such as proper handling, dispensing, mixing, curing cycles, pot life, etc., cleaning agents, safety precautions, special ventilation, drying or other processes, and any other information of a sim

18、ilar nature that is considered necessary for the particular adhesive in use. This procedure shall be updated whenever a change is made such that the original assurance of product quality is affected. Submission of this procedure shall be in accordance with Data Item Description DI-T-5372 (Tailored).

19、 (See 6.9) O - - z 3.8 Documentation of plan for safety in handling and processing of munitions. Prior to loading, the contractor shall document a detailed plan of the procedures to be employed during handling of the munition. This documentation shall describe, as a minimum, the procedures to be emp

20、loyed to assure that the temperature of the electronics assemblies, mine assemblies, do not exceed 1650F at any time during processing or storage and in such instances the time at 165OF shall not exceed one (1) hour unless otherwise specified herein. In no case shall continuous storage of the items

21、be at a temperature above 100F for a period exceeding 30 days. Submission of the plan shall be in accordance with data item description DI-R-5372 (tailored) . (See 6.9) 3.9 First article inspection. This specification contains technical provisions for first article inspection. Requirements for O the

22、 submission of first article samples by the contractor shall be as specified in the contract. 3.10 Data requirement. The contractor shall generate data in accordance with the requirements of the data item description cited in .6.9. 3.11 Workmanship. All parts and assemblies shall be fabricated, load

23、ed and assembled in a thorough workmanlike manner, and all manufacturing, processing, and assembling operations shall be correctly performed. All parts and assemblies shall be clean, free of burrs, sharp edges, cracks, dirt, grease, rust, and other foreign matter that may impair proper functioning.

24、The cleaning method used shall not be injurious to any part, nor shall the parts be contaminated by the cleaning agent(s). Exterior surface coating shall be continuous except for a few light scratches not exposing base material. All required markings shall be neat and sharply defined. Required packi

25、ng shall be dry. The boosters and main charges shall be free of surface defects (voids, protrusions, inclusions). Breakage (chips, nicks) on the outside edge (corner) of the main charge not exceeding 1/8 sq. inch in area, 1/8 inch in depth, and not exceeding three (3) per side are acceptable. 5 _cLc

QUALITY ASSURANCE PROVISIONS 4.1 Responsiblity for inspection. Unless otherwise specified in the contract or purchase order, the contractor is res

27、ponsible for the performance of all inspection requirements as specified herein. Except as otherwise specified in the contract or purchase order, the contractor may use his own or any other facilities suitable for the performance of the inspection requirements specified herein, unless disapproved by

28、 the Government. The Government reserves the right to perform any of the inspections set forth in the specification where services conform to prescribed requirements. requirements of sections 3 and 5. The inspection set forth in this specification system or quality program. The absence of any inspec

29、tion requiremnts in the specification shall not relieve the Contractor of the responsibility of assuring that all products or supplies submitted to the Government for acceptance comply with all requirements of the contract. Is defined as arming of the S&A assy (evidenced by actuation of piston actuator) before the minimum arming actuator output time specifi

36、ed on Dwg. 9332388. (Critical defect) b. Premature detonation. Is defined as detonation of mine (SLA armed) occuring before the minimum sensor enable time specified on Dwg. 9332388. 37、efore being functioned by any intended mode. (Major defect) c. Early self destruct. Is defined as detonation of the d. Enable time.
