4、r ical C omponen t Part s MIL 3 Insulation resistance. - Unless otherwise specified on applicable drawings, all insulation between isolated circuits, and between ungrounded circuits and ground shall have a minimum resistance of 100 megohms. 3.5 Performance characteristics. 3.5.1 Input power. CI The

6、 MIL-P 45714 (ORD) 3.5., 2 Power consumption. c Total power consumption shall be not greater than 1000 watts. 3.5.3 Full-load output voltage. - The fullwload output voltage shall be not less than 1175 volts direct current (dc). 3.5.4 Ripple voltage. The output ripple voltage shall be not greater tha

7、n 6.5 volts rms under full-load conditions. 3.5.5 No-load output voltage. The no-load output voltage shall be not greater than 1600 volts dc. 3.5.6 The delay circuit. CI The time delay circuit function shall be such that application of plate voltage to the rectifiers shall occur in not less than 38

8、nor more than 52 seconds after application of input voltage. 3. 5.7 Control relay (relay K4). - The output voltage of the power supply shall be available only when relay K4 is energized, 3. 5.8 Overload relay circuits. 3. 5.8.1 Overload adjust control. c) The. overload adjust control shall be capabl

9、e of adjusting the current to the overload relay to remove output voltage when output current exceeds 450 milliamperes (ma). 3.5.8.2 Overload indicator. C) The overload indicator lamp I1 shall illuminate when output voltage is removed by the overload relay. 3;5.8.3 Overload reset. C.) The overload r

10、eset switch S4 shall be capable of resetting the overload relay after removal of overload con- ditions. 3.5.9 Operate-tune switch. - The output voltage with the operate- tune switch in the TUNE position shall be one-half the voltage available with the switch in the OPERATE position. 4 Provided by IH

The power supply shall not be damaged nor shall its performance be impaired by storage or transportation at temperatures ranging from minus 40 to plus 71 degrees C (minus 40 to plus 160 degrees F). 3.6.2 Vibration. w The power supply shall not be dama

14、ged nor shall its performance be impaired when subjected to vibrating frequen- cies between 10and 55 cps, otal excursion 0,0156 inch. 3.6.3 .Shock. c, The power supply shall be capable of withstandw ing, without damage, the shocks that normally occur in operating and nonoperating condition s. 3.6.4

15、Relative humidity. - The power supply shall not be damaged nor shall its performance be impaired when subjected to relative humid- ities up to and including 90 percent. 3.6.5 Fungus resistance. - The power supply shall be treated in accordance with Specification MiL-Tm152. 19、8130045 and applicable drawings referenced thereon. 3.9 Color and finish. ec Color and finish shall be in accordance with Drawing 8130045 and applicable drawings and specifications referenced thereon. 3,lO Product marking. - Product marking shall be in accordance with Drawing 8130045 and applicable

20、drawings and specifications ref- erenced thereon, and Standard MIL-STD-130. 3,ll Workmanship. All components shall be properly fitted into their respective positions. connections shall be mechanically secure and electrically sound. controls shall operate freely without slipping, sticking or binding,

The Government reserves the right to perform any of the inspections set forth in the specification where such inspections are deemed necessary to assure supplies and services conform to specified requirement s. Inspection 4.2 Preproduction sample. C) The preproduction sample sha

25、ll be subjcted to all examinations and tests specified herein. Unless otherwise specified by the procuring activity, preproduction sample tests shall be performed by the contractor under Government sur- veillance at the installation designated in the contract or order (see 6.2). 4. 3 Sampling, Unles

26、s otherwise specified (see 6.2) by contract or by the contracting officer, sampling shall be 100 percent of produc- tion. 4. 4 Lot size. H Lot size shall not exceed that quantity of power supplies produced in one continuous operation by the same manufac- turer and manufactured in accordance with the

27、 same drawing, draw- ing revision, specification, and specification revision. 4.5 Examination. CI Visual and tactile examination for defects shall be conducted in accordance with Standard MIL-STD-252 to determine compliance with requirements as specified in 3.11, 4.6 Test equipment. 1 The test equip

28、ment shall meet the mini- mum requirements of the equipment listed below and shall be used as indicated in performing the tests. The Government inspector, when examining the contractor fs inspection equipment, will determine that the contractor has avail- able, and utilizes correctly, gaging, measuring, and test equipment of r

34、equired accuracy and precision, and that the instruments are of a proper type and range to make measurements within the required accuracy. The contractor shall have available a set of master gages, standards, and appropriate instruments to conduct regularly scheduled calibrations of his inspection e

35、quipment. Records of such calibrations shall be maintained by the contractor and made available for Govern- ment review. The calibration of gages, standards, and instruments will be checked periodically by authorized Government personnel. 4. 7 Test setup. O Test setup indicated in figure 1 shall be

43、OPERATE position and the overload adjust control R1 shall be rotated completely clockwise. Input power as specified in 3.5.1 shall be applied to the power supply. At least 52 seconds after application of input power, the push button of item 10 shall be operated and item 4 adjusted for an indication

44、of 450 ma on item 2. After a 15 minute warm up period, item 5 shall be readjusted to 450 ma if necessary and the indication on item 3 shall be observed for compliance with 3.5.2. 4. 8.2.3 Fullload output voltage. 4.8.2.3.1 Test procedure. - The operatemtune switch shall be Input power as specified i
