Scope*1.1 This specification covers aluminum-alloy investmentcastings designated as shown in Table 1.1.2 This specification is for aluminum-alloy investmentcastings used in general purpose applications. It may notaddress the mechanical properties integrity testing and verifi-cation required fo

4、r highly loaded or safety critical applications.1.3 Alloy and temper designations are in accordance withANSI H35.1/H35.1 (M).1.4 Unless the order specifies the “M” specificationdesignation, the material shall be furnished to the inch-poundunits.1.5 For acceptance criteria for inclusion of new alumin

5、umand aluminum alloys and their properties in this specification,see Annex A1 and Annex A2.1.6 UnitsThe values stated in either SI units or inch-pound units are to be regarded separately as standard. Thevalues stated in each system may not be exact equivalents;therefore, each system shall be used in
