ASTM D1766-2005 Standard Test Method for Rubber Chemicals&8212 Solubility《橡胶化学制品的标准试验方法 溶解性》.pdf

1、Designation: D 1766 05Standard Test Method forRubber ChemicalsSolubility1This standard is issued under the fixed designation D 1766; the number immediately following the designation indicates the year oforiginal adoption or, in the case of revision, the year of last revision. A number in parentheses

2、 indicates the year of last reapproval. Asuperscript epsilon (e) indicates an editorial change since the last revision or reapproval.1. Scope1.1 This test method covers a practical test for the solubilityof commercial chemicals used in rubber products.1.2 It is not a true measure of solubility, sinc

3、e equilibrium isnot approached from both sides, that is, higher temperature andlower temperature.1.3 The test method indicates the total solubility, under theconditions of the test, of all components in the presence of eachother and in the proportions present in the sample.1.4 This test method does

4、not measure the solubility of arubber chemical in rubber.1.5 The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as thestandard. The values given in parentheses are for informationonly.1.6 This standard does not purport to address the safetyconcerns, if any, associated with its use. It is the responsib

Solids areallowed to settle and a specified aliquot of the clear supernatantsolvent is quantitatively removed, the solvent evaporated, andthe mass of the residue obtained. From the masses of the

Procedure6.1 Place 50 cm3of the desired solvent in each of twosuitable containers described in 5.1. Add,

Close both bottlestightly and place in a mechanical shaker, at room temperature, for a minimum of 4 h.6.2 Hold at 23 6 0.5C

If a significant quantity of solidsis not in evidence at this point in both bottles, add 25 % moreof the organic chemical to each bottle and repeat both shakingcycles.6.3 Allow the solids to settle and while maintaining thetemperature of the
