35、in.6. Physical Property Requirements6.1 The physical property values listed within this specifi-cations tables are to be considered minimum specificationvalues. Any requirement for specific test data for a givenproduction lot shall be specified at the time of order. Physicalproperties for products n
36、ot included in Table S-PAI shall bespecified using Table I for extruded and injection moldedproducts.7. Dimensional Requirements7.1 The type, class, and grade is further differentiated by theuse of Table S-PAI, and dimensional requirements, Tables Aand B. Products shall be produced within commercial
37、 toler-ances and with the lowest stress levels for machined parts asdelineated in Tables I and II for extruded or injection moldedproducts. The manner in which the tolerances are obtained isnot relevant.7.2 Tubular bar dimensions shall be supplied in the unfin-ished condition, unless otherwise speci
38、fied at the time of order.7.3 The maximum allowable camber, or bow, or both, shallbe within the limits referenced in Tables A and B.8. Workmanship, Finish, and Appearance8.1 AppearanceThe appearance of products shall be aspublished by the shapes manufacturer.8.2 FinishAll products shall be free of b
39、listers, wrinkles,cracks, gouges, and defects that restrict commercial use of theproduct. Special surface finish shall be supplied only whenspecified in the purchase order or contract.8.3 DefectsAll products shall be free of voids, dirt,foreign material, and embedded particles exceeding132-in.0.8-mm
40、 maximum diameter as defined below.8.3.1 The criteria for determining the internal cleanlinessshall be external visual inspection. A maximum number of twointernal defects per square foot of plate or sheet and one footlength of rod or tubular bar. Clusters of defects less than132-in.0.8-mm diameter a
41、re to be counted as a single defect.9. Sampling9.1 Sampling shall be statistically adequate to satisfy therequirements of this specification as applicable.9.2 For purposes of sampling, an inspection lot for exami-nation and tests shall consist of all material of the same type,class, and grade and no
42、minal size submitted for inspection atone time.10. Number of Tests10.1 Routine lot inspection shall consist of all the criteriaspecified in the applicable product tables.10.2 The criteria listed in these product tables and defini-tions are sufficient to establish conformity of the shape to thisspeci
43、fication. When the number of test specimens is not statedin the test method, a single determination is sufficient. If morethan a single determination is made, the results shall beaveraged.
