See Fig. 2.8.

45、2.1.1 The end of the hose assembly should be insertedinside the hose connector adapter and be perpendicular to theplenum chamber.8.2.1.2 The end of the hose assembly shall not project intothe plenum chamber.8.2.2 The hose should be supported and kept straight andhorizontal. Maintain the vacuum clean

Anyrestraining method should allow the hose coupling to seal at thecleaner. See Fig. 3.8.3 Test SetupCar

47、pet Cleaning Mode:8.3.1 Mount the cleaner plate as shown in Fig. 1e ofSpecification F431 to the plenum chamber.8.3.2 Make an adapter by any convenient method whichadapts the test vacuum cleaners nozzle opening to the openingin the cleaner plate.8.3.3 Maintain the largest cross-sectional area possibl

This will prevent impeding the airflowbetween the plenum chamber and the test vacuum cleanersnozzle.F558 1338.3.4 It is recommended that the hole for the adapter/plenum chamber interface be located as close, if not directlybelow, the dirt pickup duct for the test vacuum clea

49、nersnozzle.8.3.5 The interface between the adapter and the test vacuumcleaners nozzle is to be airtight. This may be achieved by anyconvenient means.8.3.6 If the vacuum cleaner incorporates edge cleaning slotsalong the side edge(s), or slots along the front and rear edge ofthe bottom plate, or both, these slots should be sealed by anyconvenient means such as clay, tape, and so forth.8.3.7 Do not eliminate leaks resulting from test vacuumcleaners construction, except at the adapter/nozzle interface asdescribed above.8.3.8
