16、 - An implication of the scoping guidelines in section 2.2 is that it may not be possible to completely specify all of the aspects of a particular interface in a single document. Hence the specifics of the proposed deliverables and their associated issue statements become relevant. These are discuss

17、ed further in section 5. It is important to identify the infrastructural components of the IPTV architecture at its earliest stage. The main goal is to achieve a reusable design of the identified basic components and auxiliary services, such that they could be used by different services composing th

18、e wider IPTV system. It is also beneficial that the Roadmap document contains the sections dedicated to these basic components and auxiliary services with phases and estimation of the amount of work for each. 46、sues statements to provide a coherent perspective on the standardization work to be completed in developing the specifications for the IPTV Service. These prototype deliverable definitions and issue statements are grouped by the logical domains and interfaces to which they apply. The logical domains

47、 and interfaces are roughly in the priority order developed in section 4. All these deliverable definitions should be focused on the services categorized into Phase 1. The specifications that these deliverable definitions provide the basis for are not expected to be exhaustive; rather, they should b

48、e brief summaries (e.g., 10 pgs) of current agreement areas on the particular subjects, to provide a basis for further work. 5.1 IPTV High Level Architecture Provide a diagram (or a set of diagrams) with accompanying description - that defines the high level ATIS IPTV architecture. The architecture

49、should consider material presented in Figures 1 - 4 , 22, and 23 of ATIS-0800002, IPTV Architecture Requirements, and Figure 6 of IIF-WT-004, Framework for QoS Metrics and Measurements supporting IPTV Services. The goal is to provide a framework for end-to-end systems, network design, and their implementation. This will serve as a reference architecture for the IPTV functional subsystems to be defined in sepa
