6、 of EN60598-2-1 “Luminaires Part 2: Particular requirements Section one Fixed general purpose luminaires”, published by the European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardization (CENELEC). It was adopted by that organization from IEC Publication 598-2-1 (1979) edition 1, with Amendment No1(1987),
7、which is identical with the European Standard. This Section of BS4533 supersedes BS 4533-102.1:1981 which is withdrawn. The foreword and preface of IEC Publication 598-2-1 (1979) edition 1 and the preface of Amendment No 1 (1987) which do not form part of the text of EN60598-2-1 have been quoted in
8、national appendix NA. Annexes designated “normative” are part of the body of the standard. Annexes designated “informative” are given for information only. 21、 out whether or not IEC 598-2-1 (first edition,1979) as amended by Amendment No.1(1987) could be accepted without textural changes, has shown that no common modifications were necessary for the acceptance as European Standard (EN). 26、1.1 Scope This section of Part 2 of IEC Publication598 specifies requirements for fixed general purpose luminaires for use with tungsten filament, tubular fluorescent and other discharge lamps on supply voltages not exceeding 1000 V. It is to be read in conjunction with those sections of Part 1 to w
27、hich reference is made. 1.2 General test requirements The provisions of Section Zero of Publication598-1 apply. The tests described in each appropriate section of Part1 shall be carried out in the order listed in this section of Part2. 1.3 Definitions For the purposes of this section, the definition
