28、rrigidplasticcylinderwithaninternaldiameterof (35,00,1)mmandanoutsidediameterof(41,00,1)mm.Thecylindershallbeinsertedinto,orbeanintegral partofasteelbase.Theocularshallbecushionedbyasiliconeseatingringfirmlyattachedtothetopofthetube. Thisseatingringshallbemadeofsiliconerubberof(405)I.R.H.Dandshallha

29、veaninsidediameterof (35,00,4)mandcrosssectionsof3mmx3mmnominaldimensions. Thecombinedmassofthesupportshallbeatleast12kg. Aloadringofmass(2505)gisplacedontheocular.Theringhasaninsidediameterthesameasthatofthe supporttube,andanyconvenientoutsidediameter.Asiliconeseatingringhavingthesamedimensionsand

30、hardnessastheoneattachedtothetopofthesupporttubeisplacedbetweentheloadringandtheocular.Apiece ofcarbonpaperonapieceofwhitepaperisplacedatthebaseofthe1,5mmdeepcavityintheocularsupport (seeFigure1). Forcurvedocularswithacylindricalcomponent,thetestsupporttubeandloadringshallbecurvedtoconformto theconc

Impactsshallbedirectedatthevisua

Theimpactsarecarriedoutinthefollowingconditions: a) withtheocularheatedto(552)Candmaintainedatthistemperatureforatleast1h; b)
