28、hegeneralrequirementsforthedesignandergonomicsarespecifiedin4.1ofEN363:2002. 4.2 Materialsandconstruction Webbingandsewingthreadsofafullbodyharnessshallbemadefromvirginfilamentormultifilamentsynthetic fibressuitablefortheirintendeduse. Thebreakingtenacityofthesyntheticfibreshallbeknowntobeatleast0,6

Threadsusedforsewingshallbephysicallycompatiblewiththewebbing,andthequalityshallbecompatibleto thatofthewebbing.Theyshall,however,beofacontrastingshadeorcolourinordertofacilitatevisualinspection. Afullbodyharnessshallcomprisestrapsorsimilarelementswhichareplacedinthepelvicareaandonthe shoulde
30、rs,e.g.asshowninFigure1.Thefullbodyharnessshallfitthewearer.Meansofadjustmentmaybe provided. Strapsshallnotmigratefrompositionandshallnotloosenbythemselves. Thewidthofprimarystrapsshallbeatleast40mmandofsecondarystrapsatleast20mm. Itshallbevisuallyconfirmedduringthestaticstrengthtestspecifiedin5.1th
31、atthosestrapswhichsupportthetorso dummyorexertpressureonthetorsodummyareprimarystraps. Thefallarrestattachmentelement(s)maybeplacedsoastolie,duringtheuseofthefullbodyharness,abovethe centreofgravity,infrontofthechestand/oratthebackand/oratbothshouldersofthewearer. Thefullbodyharnessmaybeincorporated
32、withinagarment. Itshallbepossibletocarryoutavisualinspectionofthewholefullbodyharness,evenifthefullbodyharnessis incorporatedwithinagarment.Allsecuringbuckles(i.e.bucklesotherthanthoseusedprimarilyforadjustmentof fit)shallbedesignedinsuchawaythattheycanonlybeassembledinacorrectmanneror,iftheyarecapa
33、bleof beingassembledinmorethanoneway,thateachmethodofassemblyshallconformtothestrengthand performancerequirements. Metallicfittingsshallconformtothecorrosionprotectionrequirementsspecifiedin4.4ofEN362:1992. 4.3 Staticstrength Whentestedateachattachmentelementasdescribedin5.1.4.2ofEN364:1992withaforc
