Thebreakingtenacityofthesyntheticfibreshallbeknowntobeatleast0,6

Threadsusedforsewingshallbephysicallycompatiblewiththewebbing,andthequalityshallbecompatibleto thatofthewebbing.Theyshall,however,beofacontrastingshadeorcolourinordertofacilitatevisualinspection. Afullbodyharnessshallcomprisestrapsorsimilarelementswhichareplacedinthepelvicareaandonthe shoulde
30、rs,e.g.asshowninFigure1.Thefullbodyharnessshallfitthewearer.Meansofadjustmentmaybe provided. Strapsshallnotmigratefrompositionandshallnotloosenbythemselves. Thewidthofprimarystrapsshallbeatleast40mmandofsecondarystrapsatleast20mm. Itshallbevisuallyconfirmedduringthestaticstrengthtestspecifiedin5.1th
31、atthosestrapswhichsupportthetorso dummyorexertpressureonthetorsodummyareprimarystraps. Thefallarrestattachmentelement(s)maybeplacedsoastolie,duringtheuseofthefullbodyharness,abovethe centreofgravity,infrontofthechestand/oratthebackand/oratbothshouldersofthewearer. Thefullbodyharnessmaybeincorporated

Itshallbepossibletocarryoutavisualinspectionofthewholefullbodyharness,evenifthefullbodyharnessis incorporatedwithinagarment.Allsecuringbuckles(i.e.bucklesotherthanthoseusedprimarilyforadjustmentof fit)shallbedesignedinsuchawaythattheycanonlybeassembledinacorrectmanneror,iftheyarecapa
