36、eentryofafireintotheliftwell.Suchadoor isgenerallynotdesignedtopossessthesameresistancetothepassageofhotgasesasadoorseparating adjacentspacesonthesamefloor. 4.2 Thetestconsistsofexposingthelandingsideofaliftlandingdoortotheheatingconditionsspecifiedin EN13631fortheperiodforwhichthedoorhastobeassesse
37、dforitsfireresistance.Duringthetest,positive pressureexistsoverthewholeheightofthedoorontheexposedside,inducingtheleakageoffurnacegasestothe unheatedside.Acanopyisprovidedontheunexposedsidewhichcollectstheleakedgasesandasuctionfan drawsthesethroughaductprovidedwithasystemformeasuringthevolumeflow(se
38、eannexA).The concentrationofCO 2 ,usedasatracergas,ismeasuredinthefurnaceandattheairflowmeasuringpoint,andby monitoringthegasflowrateanditstemperatureitispossibletocalculatetheleakagerateofhotgasesthroughthe testdoor.Themethodgivesarecordofthehotgasleakageasafunctionoftimewhichiscorrectedfornormal c
