WhenprovisionsofthistypeCstandardaredifferentfromthosewhicharestatedintypeA

EN81hasidentifiedtheneedforcertainliftdoorstoactasfirebarriersagainstthetransferofafireviatheliftwell. ThisEuro

23、peanStandardspecifiesaprocedureforthispurpose.ItfollowsthegeneralprincipleofEN13631,Fire resistancetestsPart1:Generalrequirements,andwhereappropriatetheprocedureofEN16341,Fire resistancetestsfordoorandshutterassembliesPart1:Firedoorsandshutters.Additionallyatracergas techniqueforestablishingtheinteg

24、rityofaliftlandingdoorisused. LiftlandingdoorsarenotincludedinthescopeofEN16341. Liftlandingdoors,withadditionalapplications,thatmayalreadyhavebeentestedforotherthanpassengerlift landingdoorusetoEN16341,areconsideredtosatisfythecorrespondingclassificationaccordingtothis Europeanstandard.EN8158:2003(

25、E) 6 1Scope ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesthemethodoftestfordeterminingthefireresistanceofliftlandingdoorswhich maybeexposedtoafirefromthelandingside.Theprocedureappliestoalltypesofliftlandingdoorsusedasa meansofaccesstoliftsinbuildingsandwhichareintendedtoprovideafirebarriertothespreadoffireviatheli

26、ft well. Theprocedureallowsforthemeasurementofintegrityandifrequiredthemeasurementofradiationandthermal insulation. Norequirementsotherthantheverificationthatthespecimenisoperational,areincludedformechanical conditioningbeforethetestastheseareincludedintherelevantproductstandard. 2 Normativereferenc

35、onoffireresistanceofdoorswhichmaybeexposedtoa fireinabuildingfromeithersideandarerequiredtopreventthetransferoffirefromonesidetotheother.Lift landingdoorsrepresentaspecialuseofdoorswherethefireexposureisexpectedtobefromaspecifieddirection, i.e.thelandingside,andwherethehazardexistsonlysubsequenttoth

36、eentryofafireintotheliftwell.Suchadoor isgenerallynotdesignedtopossessthesameresistancetothepassageofhotgasesasadoorseparating adjacentspacesonthesamefloor. 4.2 Thetestconsistsofexposingthelandingsideofaliftlandingdoortotheheatingconditionsspecifiedin EN13631fortheperiodforwhichthedoorhastobeassesse

37、dforitsfireresistance.Duringthetest,positive pressureexistsoverthewholeheightofthedoorontheexposedside,inducingtheleakageoffurnacegasestothe unheatedside.Acanopyisprovidedontheunexposedsidewhichcollectstheleakedgasesandasuctionfan drawsthesethroughaductprovidedwithasystemformeasuringthevolumeflow(se

38、eannexA).The concentrationofCO 2 ,usedasatracergas,ismeasuredinthefurnaceandattheairflowmeasuringpoint,andby monitoringthegasflowrateanditstemperatureitispossibletocalculatetheleakagerateofhotgasesthroughthe testdoor.Themethodgivesarecordofthehotgasleakageasafunctionoftimewhichiscorrectedfornormal c

39、onditions.Thisprovidesabasisforassessingtheabilityofthedoortoactasaneffectivefirebarrier. 5 Testequipment 5.1 ThetestfurnaceshallbeasdescribedinEN13631. 5.2 ThecanopyshallbeasspecifiedinannexA. 5.3 ThemeasuringsystemforleakagerateshallbeasspecifiedinannexA. 6Test conditions 6.1 Thefurnaceshallbecont

40、rolledtofollowthetemperature/timecurveasspecifiedinEN13631. 6.2 Thefurnaceshallmaintainpositivepressureontheexposedsideoverthewholeheightofthespecimen suchthatthepressureatsilllevelisintherangeof(22)Pa. Asecondspecimenmayberequiredaccordingto10.2tover

42、ifythedoorconstruction. 7.3Sizeofspecimen Thespecimenshallbefullsizeorthemaximumsizethatcanbeaccommodatedinthefurnace.Thetypicalsizeof thefrontopeningofthefurnaceis3m 3m.Inordertoexposearequiredminimumwidthof200mmofsupporting constructionforatypical3m 3mfurnace,theopeninginthesupportingconstructioni

43、srestrictedto2,6m 2,8 m(widthxheight). 7.4Installationofspecimen Thespecimenshallbemountedinasupportingconstructionhavingadequatefireresistance.Thesupporting constructionshallbebuiltfirstwithinthetestframeleavinganapertureofthespecifiedsize.Thewidthofthe supportingconstructiononthetwoverticalsidesandthetopshallbenotlessthan200mm. Thedesignoftheconnectionbetweenthedoorandthesupportingconstruction,includinganymaterialsusedto makethejunction,shallbeas
