Productslesswideandnogreaterinsurfaceareathanthesurfaceareaofthesampletested S 1 = L 1 x H 1 willbeassumedtoresistthesamesnowload, p (SeeFigure1) b)Theshutterresiststhesnowloadtogetherwiththemechanicalassociationoftheglazing. Toberepresentativeofarangeofsizes,thes

Thispanelisplacedatadistance1,2dfromthecurtain,dbeingthemaximumdistance betweentheshutterandglazingstatedbythemanufacturer. 4.3.2 Carryingoutoftheloading Thecurtainisloadeduniformly: eitherinahorizontalpositioningsothattheeffectoftheloadingproducesauniform pressu

31、re.Inthecaseofuseofindividualloads,nineloadspermminimumshallbe distributedevenlyoverthecurtain; orinaverticalpositioningforthetestusingairpressureofapneumatictype.If necessary,theloadingisachievedwiththehelpofathinpolyesterfilmorsimilarmaterial whichwillnotaddtotheresistanceoftheshutter.Thetestappar

32、atusisthatdescribedin EN1932forwindtestforshutters(accuracy 5%of p N ). Iftheshutterresiststogetherwiththeglazing,therigidpanelrepresentingtheglazingshallbe perforated(5cminholesperm)nottoputunderpressurethespacebetweentheshutterand theglazing. 4.3.3 Testloads Fortheparticularapplicablesnowpressure
