Thetestpersonshallmovetheirfootandlegtosuchaposition,thatitwillbepossibletotestalldirectionsas showninFigures3and4. 5.4 Zoneofprotection WhentestinginaccordancewithEN132771:2000,5.5,theprotectorshallbeattachedtoatestpersonofan appropriateheightinacc

35、ordancewiththeinformationsuppliedbythemanufacturer. Thegaugeshallbeplacedontothesurfaceofthezoneofprotection. Whenthepositionofbestcoverageofthegaugeisfound,theoutlineofthegaugeshallbemarkedonthe protector. Fortestinginstepprotectorsthetestpersonshallstretchhisfootasmuchaspossible. 5.5 Impactperform

36、ance 5.5.1Apparatus TheprincipleofimpacttestingisshowninFigure5. Ahorizontalrigidhalfcylinderatleast150mminlengthand(905)mmindiametermadeoutofsteel, aluminium,woodorrigidplasticshallbeusedasasupportforthesample.Theanvilshallbea25mmdiameter steelcylinder,50mminlengthwitha12,5mmradiusofthetopsurface,m

37、ountedonaloadcell.Theanvilshall bepositionedinacentralholeinthehorizontalcylindricalsupport.Thetopedgeoftheanvilshallbelevelwith thecylindricalsupport.Twostraps,each(205)mminwidthandwiththeircenterlines100mmfromeachother shallbeloadedwith50Neachshallbeprovidedtofixthesampletothecylindricalsupport.If

38、thetestpositions arelessthan50mmdistantfromtheupperorloweredgeofthezoneofprotectionthesamplemaybefixedwith onlyonestrapandloadedwithaforceat50N. Thestrikershallbeabletofallfreelyintheverticalaxisoftheanvilwithatoleranceof2mm.Thestrikershall beguidedinsuchaway,thatitwillalwaysreachatleast95%ofthefree
