20、protectionagainstambientconditionsofwind,waterandcold,butitshouldalsoprovidesomeprotectionfrominjury intheeventofanaccident.Itisintendednottohinderariderfromcontrollinghismachine.Itshouldbeofan acceptableappearancetothewearer. ThisEuropeanStandardisprimarilyconcernedwiththeprotectionprovidedbyclothi

21、ngagainstinjuryinaccidents. Thehazardstowhichmotorcyclistsareexposedvarywidelydependingonthephysicalenvironmentsuchasthe natureoftheroadtrackormountainside,theclimaticenvironment,thetrafficenvironment,thespeedatwhichthe motorcycleisbeingriddenandtheskilloftherider.Thenumberofcombinationsofpossibleha

22、zardsisverylarge. Totalclothingperformanceagainsteveryidentifiedhazardcouldberequiredforeachcombination.Thiswouldbe impracticablycomplicated.Thereforethisstandardcontainstherequirementsforsinglecharacteristicsofsingle itemsofclothingorsimplecombinationsofgarments. 29、ngatafixedspeedoverarigidhorizontal surface.Thetimeforthespecimentofullyabradeismeasuredbydetectingthedifferenceintimebetweenthe breakingoftwoelectricalwires,onepassingovertheouterandoneovertheinnersurfaceofthespecimen. 4.2Apparatus 4.2.1 Apparatusconformingtothefollowingcharacteristics: Belt speed
