33、etometalabrasion).Thepremixedamountsofplasticizerandepoxidizedsoybeanoil arethenaddedasafinestreamwhilethemixerisrunning.Thehomogeneousmixture,thetemperatureofwhich hasrisentoabout100Casaresultofthemixingprocedure,iscooledtoroomtemperaturewithcontinuing agitation. Thebasicmixturesshallnotbestoredfor

34、longerthan2years,andshallbehermeticallysealedandprotectedfrom exposuretolight.EN144691:2004(E) 8 Annex A (informative) Explanations Whentestingcolouringmaterialsinpolyvinylchloride,thethermalinstabilityofpurePVCmakesitnecessaryto beginbypreparingbasicmixtureswithanumberofadditives. Ininterlaboratory

35、testsbythe“PVCbasicmixture“plasticizedPVCbasicmixturesstabilizedwithaBa/Znstabilizer systemgavethebeststability.Theintentionistoavoidanyadverseeffectonthepigmentedsamplesduetocolour changeinthebasicmixtures. Thebasicmixturesincludealubricanttopreventplateout.Itsnatureandamountwereassessedonthebasiso

36、f interlaboratorytests,insuchawayaspracticallytoeliminateadverseeffectsunderthetestconditionsproposed. Thevinylchloridehomopolymerchosenwasasuspensionpolymer,sincethisiscurrentlythemostwidelyused. Withoutexception,thefilmsproducedfromthebasicmixturesgavegoodresultsonexposuretoheatandin lightfastness
