7、I 5 September 2001 National foreword This part of BS EN 61010 has been prepared by Technical Committee EPL/66 and is the English language version of EN 61010-1:1993 Safety requirements for electrical equipment for measurement, control, and laboratory use Part 1: General requirements including amendm

8、ent A2:1995, published by the European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardization (CENELEC). It was derived by CENELEC from IEC 61010-1:1990 including amendments 1:1992 and 2:1995 and corrigendum April 1999, published by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). This British Standard

9、supersedes BS 4743:1979 and BS 5458:1977 which are withdrawn. The CENELEC common modifications have been implemented at the appropriate places in the text. The start and finish of each common modification is indicated in the text by tags . Parts of the original IEC text that have been modified by CE
