7、I 5 September 2001 National foreword This part of BS EN 61010 has been prepared by Technical Committee EPL/66 and is the English language version of EN 61010-1:1993 Safety requirements for electrical equipment for measurement, control, and laboratory use Part 1: General requirements including amendm

8、ent A2:1995, published by the European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardization (CENELEC). It was derived by CENELEC from IEC 61010-1:1990 including amendments 1:1992 and 2:1995 and corrigendum April 1999, published by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). This British Standard

9、supersedes BS 4743:1979 and BS 5458:1977 which are withdrawn. The CENELEC common modifications have been implemented at the appropriate places in the text. The start and finish of each common modification is indicated in the text by tags . Parts of the original IEC text that have been modified by CE

10、NELEC are quoted in National annex NA. The start and finish of text introduced or altered by amendment is indicated in the text by tags . Tags indicating changes to IEC text carry the number of the IEC amendment. For example, text altered by IEC amendment 2 is indicated by . CENELEC text (in this ca

11、se Annex ZA) which has been altered by CENELEC amendment A2 is also indicated by . 23、 of CENELEC, the text of the International Standard IEC 1010-1:1990 with inclusion of DIS 66E(C.O.)12, ADIS 66E(C.O.)15 and 15A, together with a common modification prepared by Reporting Secretariat SR 66E, was submitted to the CENELEC members for formal vote. This draft was approved by CENELEC as E

24、N 61010-1 on 9 March 1993. NOTE Documents DIS 66E(C.O.)12 and ADIS 66E(C.O.)15 and 15A were published as amendment 1 to the International Standard IEC 1010-1 in September 1992. This European Standard supersedes HD 401 S1:1980. The following dates were fixed: For products which have complied with HD

25、401 S1:1980 before 1993-12-01, as shown by the manufacturer or by a certification body, this previous standard may continue to apply for production until 1998-12-01. Foreword to amendment A2 The text of 66/110 + 110A/DIS, future Amendment 2 to IEC 1010-1:1990, prepared by IEC TC 66, Safety of measuring, control, and laboratory equipment,

28、 was submitted to the IEC-CENELEC parallel vote and was approved by CENELEC as Amendment A2 to EN 1010-1:1993 on 1995-07-04. This amendment supersedes HD 215 S1:1974. The following dates were fixed: For products which have complied with EN 61010-1:1993 and HD 215 S1:1974 before 1996-04-01, as shown

29、by the manufacturer or by a certification body, these previous standards may continue to apply for production until 2001-04-01. Annexes designated “normative” are part of the body of the standard. In this standard, Annex ZA is normative. Annex ZA has been added by CENELEC. With this amendment, IEC 1
