34、llyor hydraulicallyandmaybehandheld,bottletopmountingorfreestandingbenchtopapparatus.Theycanalsobe automatedanalyserscomponents.Thedrivecomponentsmaybeintegralwith,ormanuallyseparablefromthe volumetricmeasuringcomponents(changeoverunits). Priortodeliveryofdiluent,thediluentpistonsystemischargedbyasp
35、irationofdiluentfromareservoir.Afterair bubblefreefillingofthesystem,diluentisdrawnintothevolumemeasuringcylinderbythediluentpiston,either directly,viatheuptakeanddeliveryprobe,orindirectly,fromareservoiruntilavolumecontrollinglimitisreached.A measuredvolumeofsampleisthenaspiratedintotheuptakeanddel

Theuptakeofsamplemaybecontrolledbyasecondlimittothemovementofthediluentpiston,oritmayinvolvea second,dedicated,cylinderandpistonwithvalves.Duringdelivery,thesamplevolumeintheuptakeanddelivery probeisexpelled,followedbythemeasuredquantityofdiluent. 5 Adjustment 5.1 Adilutorshallbeadjusted
37、byitssupplierfortheuptakeanddeliveryofitsstatedvolumesandforthestandard referencetemperatureof ,usinggrade 3waterasspecifiedinISO 3696. 5.2 Ifthedilutorisdesignedtohaveitsfactorypresetadjustmentalteredbytheuser,thedesignshallprevent unintentionalreadjustment.Iftheuserreadjuststhedilutor,itshallbecle

TheconformitytestshallbecarriedoutinaccordancewithISO 86556by thesupplier,priortotheissuanceofasuppliersdeclarationofconformity,or atesthouseorotherauthorizedbody,priortotheissuanceofacertificateofconformity. Forconformitytests,themaximumpermissibleerrorsofTables 1and2shallapply.Ifasuppliersdecl
42、arationora certificateofconformityisissued,itshallbestatedpreciselywhichspecificcomponentshavebeentested.Theuse ofsubstitutetubinginvolvesalterationofthesystemtypetestedandthismayinvalidatethesuppliersorthirdparty certifiedvolumetricperformance.
