17、ies for the installer to install the material in accordance with themanufacturers instructions and in accordance with local regulations and to document that this has been done.The designer has the responsibility for selecting the actual product in accordance with the minimumrequirements in this spec

The designer is required to consult the appropriateproduct standard for the product selected.The manufacturer has the responsibility to produce the product according to any applicable materialspecification, declare that their product type meets the requirements of
19、this standard, declare the fitness for theintended use and label the product according to this standard.The installer is required to install the product in accordance with the manufacturers instructions; assume theresponsibilities for installation and be responsible for meeting local government regu

21、ons Part 2:Principal responsibilities of installers1ScopeThis part of ISO 12575 specifies the responsibilities of the installers of exterior insulating systems forfoundations such that a product that is manufactured and packaged in accordance with ISO 12575-1 is able toprovide the properties declare
22、d by the manufacturer when installed according to this part of ISO 12575.This part of ISO 12575 stipulates responsibilities of the installer in the installation of the exterior insulationsystem, documentation of the installation and a declaration by the installer that all requirements of this part o
23、fISO 12575 have been met.This part of ISO 12575 does not specify the fitness of the product for the intended use beyond those aspectsrelating to installation. Many aspects relating to the fitness for use are specified in ISO 12575-1.The installer can be required to meet additional requirements speci

26、rementsThe installer shall ensure that the product for installation be suitable for the application, based on jurisdictionrequirements and the manufacturers recommendations.The installer shall ensure that the product for installation has been declared by the manufacturer to meet therequirements of I
27、SO 12575-1.BS ISO 12575-2:2007ISO 12575-2:2007(E)2 ISO 2007 All rights reserved4.2 Detailed requirementsThe installer is responsible for obtaining training on the means by which the manufacturer declares conformityto ISO 12575-1 and on how to interpret the manufacturers marking on the product.The in
28、staller shall ensure that the insulation has a reasonably uniform insulating value over the entire face of theinsulated area.The installer shall ensure that the installed insulation levels can meet or exceed either the minimum jurisdictionrequirements or the engineered, energy-efficient design speci
29、fication.The installer shall ensure that any insulation that is exposed to the weather or subject to mechanical damage beprotected. This protection shall extend far enough into the soil to account for settlement of the soil over time.The installer shall ensure, when carbon steel connectors, frame or
30、 furring are used, that these members arecorrosion-resistant.5 ApplicationsThis part of ISO 12575 applies to perimeter walls, frost walls and load-bearing applications with fastened,adhered, furred, frame or soil-pressure methods of holding insulation and any protection boards or protectivesurfacing
31、 in position.Applications shall comply with any job specifications, together with building code requirements, manufacturersinstallation instructions, or good building practices.6 Site testingIn case of a dispute between a manufacturer and an installer that cannot be resolved, tests by an accreditedt
32、hird party testing agency to the appropriate material standard shall be accepted.In case of an application dispute between an installer and an owner or owners agent that cannot be resolved,opinions by a mutually recognized and qualified professional shall be accepted.NOTE Installers are not expected
33、 to do quality-assurance testing of insulation, fasteners, furring framing or protectionmaterials; this is the responsibility of the material manufacturer prior to shipment.7 Marking and labelling7.1 Manufacturers markingThe Installer shall determine where or by what means the manufacturer declares
34、conformity to ISO 12575-1.The installer shall identify, verify and record how the material was marked on the daily work record.7.2 Job-site labelThe installer shall attach a job-site label on each complete application, in a prominent location on the site, toidentify the application as meeting the re
